“He introduced and played the pieces that showed off the things that many listeners love best about him: his sweet silvery tone, his dazzling technique, and not least, his engaging way of talking to an audience,” said David Wright for the Boston Classical Review about Itzhak’s performance in November 2014.
The sold-out Tallahassee performance is the first of Itzhak’s five city music tour of the ‘Sunshine State’ with dates in Sarasota (3/21), Naples (3/22), Fort Lauderdale (3/23) and Jacksonville (3/24).
The mission of Opening Nights Performing Arts Series and Festival at Florida State University in Tallahassee is to engage the university, local, and global communities in creative experiences. Since the inaugural festival sixteen seasons ago, Opening Nights has grown into an annual series of performances from October through April, while continuing to embrace its history in presenting a two-week February festival – bringing performing arts presenting at Florida State University full-circle to the days of the Artist Series and Fine Arts Festival.
