Itzhak Perlman played to a sold out Symphony Hall in a Celebrity Series concert on Sunday. The concert celebrated the 20th Anniversary of In The Fiddler’s House and featured music director Hankus Netsky on saxophone and piano, Andy Statman on clarinet and mandolin, and other special guests.

Itzhak Perlman has recorded a special bonus track for the upcoming new Broadway cast recording of Fiddler on the Roof, now running at the Broadway Theatre. The track, “Excerpts From Fiddler on the Roof,” is arranged by acclaimed composer John Williams.
The fifth Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof, the musical theatre masterpiece that tells the story of Jewish milkman Tevye, who strives to maintain “Tradition” as he sees his three oldest daughters fall in love.
The revival will be based on the original conception and choreography of Jerome Robbins, who won a 1965 Tony Award for his direction and choreography of the musical, and will feature choreography by Israeli-born artist Hofesh Shechte.
Broadway Records will release the album, which is produced by David Lai, Ted Sperling, and Louise Gund. The cast recording will have its worldwide release on March 18 and be available to purchase at the Broadway Theatre beginning March 8.
